By law, the maximum amount an individual may contribute is $400.00 ($800.00 per couple) per election. Contributions are not tax-deductible. Corporations and labor organizations may not contribute to a candidate. For contributions of $20 or more the Colorado Constitution requires that donors provide their address. For contributions of $100 or more the Colorado Constitution requires donors provide their address, employer, and occupation.
